The Belle île Collection, is a tribute to Belle-île-en-Mer, an island of the coast of Brittany, France. The island is home to peaceful beaches, spectacular cliffs, colourful ports and lush countryside that has made it one of the most visited islands in the region with many artists, past and present finding inspiration there.
The glass design is inspired by the beauty and grace of the sea. The curved silhouette is accentuated at the base with an embossed shell motif that is emblematic of shells on the sea floor.
Founded in 1475, La Rochère is the oldest, continuous operating glassworks company in the world.
Using a custom manufacturing process, La Rochère pieces are created with a two-part open mold, giving them the brand’s iconic seam. The result is superior quality glass, known for its exceptional clarity, brilliance, durability and authentic French style.
