La Lapine 97 Points - Bob Campbell.
Barrel fermented and oak matured sauvignon blanc that doesn't mention the variety on the label, which suggests the wine is less about grape variety and more about the influence of extended barrel maturation. A rich, creamy wine with impressive weight and a silken texture. It has subtle varietal flavours overlaid with nutty lees and spicy oak character together with a subtle struck flint/mineral influence
