The double walled design ensures the glass stays cool to touch whilst your coffee (or tea) stays warm.  

Each piece is handmade, thus any small bubbles and imperfections that you may find are the sign of the craftsman's work and a symbol of the originality of each piece.

IVV, Industria Vetraria Valdarnese, was founded in 1952 by a group of master glassmakers in San Giovanni Valdarno, the very heart of Tuscany.

Over the years, IVV grew to become one of Europe’s main producers of blown glass and handmade glass by bringing together research on materials, design, traditional artisanal techniques and process controls to create objects that constantly change and renovate rooms and the dinner table.

Did you know that “tazzina”, the Italian word for “espresso coffee cup” derives from “tazzini” because Luigi Tazzini was the name of the Italian who invented the coffee cup or various other small cups that had never been seen before.
