After five years in the making, we are pleased to present the 22nd vintage of Foxes Island Chardonnay 2013.

The 2013 vintage had cool, rainy conditions during flowering which ultimately yielded a smaller vintage than normal.  However a lovely warm summer ensued, ripening the grapes to have beautiful development of flavour underscored by pitch perfect acidity and phenolic structure.  

Never one to be rushed, the Chardonnay took a full 12 months in large French oak barrels to complete the natural fermentation.

Seductive and delicious aromas of red apple, ripe white peach and honeycomb dance in the glass whilst rich, textural flavours on the palate are balanced by a striking elegant structure that is focused and precise; exciting every taste bud along the way.
