Foxes Island Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2007:
Decanter World Wine Awards
SILVER
Winewise Magazine, April 2008
"Intense gooseberry aromas with hints of barrel fermentation. Very good depth of fruit on a creamy textured palate balanced by a slight mineral grip. Not your typical herbaceous Marlborough SB. Highly Recommended."

"The 2007 vintage was hand-picked at 23.5 Brix, fermented in a mix of tanks (95 per cent) and new French oak barriques (5 per cent), and lees-aged for three months. It's a stylish, sophisticated wine, ripely scented and weighty, with tropical-fruit flavours showing a touch of complexity and a well-rounded, dry (4.1 grams/litre of residual sugar) finish. It should age well."
